Dr. Kristin Tabor graduated with honors from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas. Here, she gained expertise in high-risk obstetrics and benign gynecologic surgery using the Da Vinci robot. She furthered her training by completing a fellowship in Robotics and Advanced Pelvic Surgery at North Texas Gynecologic Oncology in Dallas. Dr. Tabor is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Tabor has specialized skills in robotic surgery and is experienced in performing hysterectomies, adnexal surgery and prolapse surgery. She also has a special personal interest in women’s preventive health. While at Parkland, she worked with peers to investigate barriers to HPV vaccination and developed an educational tool that doubled HPV vaccination rates at local clinics.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city with her fiancé, live music, running, swimming and international travel.
